A POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON CONFINEMENT
No one can deny that confining a person to their home and depriving them of physical human interaction is very taxing on their psyche, at the end of the day we are social beings. Nevertheless there are worse things you can be subjected to. Today, we are faced with a choice; and the choice we make will not only ensure our safety, but also that of our loved ones. In many countries across the world, people are being treated on the floor because there aren’t enough hospital beds. Doctors are forced to choose who is taken off the ventilators and left to die, as ventilators and medical supplies can no longer cater to the growing number of patients. After looking at the darker side of the picture, being confined to a warm house, with some family members, eating warm food and being fully healthy isn’t so bad. Let’s stop for a minute and be grateful for just being locked down instead of being in a hospital, fearing for our life or the life of our loved ones, hoping to get a turn on the ventilator.
