DO ALL ECONOMIC THEORIES MATERIALIZE?
I attended a lecture in Europe in a top university, the professor was a credible economist who presented a graph showing the success rate of global economic theories, the success rate is less than 5%. This means that less than 5% of economic theories actually happen! Do you know why? Because when economists develop an economic theory, they totally miss the fact that people are the ones making economic decisions and people are not computers, they are driven by their values and emotions. That’s a great thing because it proves that people are in power and they have the power to impact their economies! We control what happens to our economy if we behave collectively in support of our economy all the numbers and theories being thrown to scare us will have no impact. Remember this and don’t let anything or anyone take that power from you!

Dr. Bou-Diab joined AM Bank s.a.l. in the year 2000 and is currently the Deputy General Manager-COO of the Bank. In September 2017, Nahla accepted the appointment by the World Union of Arab Bankers, as Head the Women Empowerment Group for the financial and banking sector in the Arab World. She is an active Mentor at Endeavor, and volunteers her time to support SME’s by helping young entrepreneurs to effectively drive their business.
